Hello, in case anyone is interested, I added a few more photo negatives this week, of drivers Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Olivier Gendebien & Wolfgang von Trips. Hill was the first American driver to win the F1 drivers championship (he did it in 1961!), and was the winner of this 1961 GP race in Belgian, driving for Ferrari. Also driving for Ferrari was the aristocratic Count Wolfgang Von Trips, who died in a horrible crash a few weeks after this race, at the 1961 Italian GP. In addition, I added a vintage signed photo of boxer Tony Galento, plus a signed photo of Hollywood actor William Haade, of Key Largo & Kid Galahad fame. The signed photo of boxer Tony Galento is signed "to" actor "Bill Haade". Both of these signed photos I found amongst some other Hollywood photos depicting Haade in many of his movie roles. You can view them on eBay by clicking the eBay link below. Here are a few pics:

For anyone interested, I just listed a few more 1961 Grand Prix photos, of driver Oliver Gendebien, as well as another Hollywood photo of William Haad with Gregory Peck, in the 1941 film Sgt. York. This new Hollywood photo was among the other Haade photos that I am auctioning, including his signed photo. You can view them by clicking the eBay link below. Also below are a couple photo samples. Thank you.

Hello, I finally found some time to list some more 1961 Formula 1 Grand Prix racing photo negatives. Most appear to have been taken at the Belgian Grand Prix Spa, & the Solitude Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany. Drivers and constructors include Phil Hill, Wolfgang von Trips, Richie Ginther, Olivier Gendebien (all racing in Sharknose Ferrari’s), Jim Clark (Lotus), and Lorenzo Bandini (Cooper Maserati). I also added some more Hollywood promo photo stills, many from the 1940’s, including Hedy Lamarr, Yvonne DeCarlo, Sylvia Sidney, Ann Sheridan, Jane Wyman, Joan Bennett, Bette Davis, Ernest Hemingway, Errol Flynn, Gregory Peck, George Raft. You can view all by clicking here to view my eBay store. Also below are a couple photo samples. Thank you.

Looks like my eBay link is not working. Not sure if it's eBay, or this board. Here is the link to the F1 & Hollywood listings. Hope it works! Thank you.

EDIT: Looks like the above link isn't working either. Oh well, I give up, sorry for the noise.

Thank you for the heads up, I figured it was probably eBay. I guess they don't want more business :wideyed:

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

They have really messed up the search, too. When I hovered over the URL from your link I saw what I thought would be your user ID. Searched it, and got a response that it wasn't a valid seller name. Then I tried another. Same response. I have no other ideas right now. Just searching some of the names you listed came up with millions of hits.

Just had a thought... I was searching US eBay. Are you listing there?

Yes, I am listing on the US eBay, my eBay user name is cokerobc, looks like you can only search sellers by using eBay's advanced search. Anyway, we've been talking a lot about eBay in another forum re: how they have messed up their search engine, priced sellers out of their platform with their enormous fees, etc. Many of us are surprised another well funded tech startup hasn't yet been able to create a more seller friendly antique/vintage "collectibles" auction platform, to compete, and to take some of the eBay market share. eBay is great for buyers, not so much for sellers. Many sellers, including myself, have recently taken to selling privately in forums, Facebook, etc., instead of using eBay as much. But eBay has a massive audience, to be sure, so they are hard to ignore when trying to wean collectibles from your collection. Anyway, monopolies suck :greedy::(

True! Not quite so great for us buyers any more, ever since they messed up the search engine. But still much better than the site is for sellers.

I'm a photo collector. Most of what I collect is from a bit earlier period than what you are currently selling. I did see the one listing for a lot of antique photos, and the dates of those do fit my time period. Some cute kids there, but none of the current group fits what I'm looking for. I've added your page to my Saved Sellers, so easier to find later.

Yes, cokerobc is my eBay name, and that post was specific to another eBay problem I encountered, not being able to send a modified receipt to a international buyer after he won multiple auctions, thus I couldn’t lessen the shipping cost, to give the buyer a shipping discount. I ended having to go thru a few hoops to fix their problem :(
