Stacey, I think it is a sweet painting of a young child. ;)

What country/location did you get this painting in?

    What size is it?

P.S. I looked just like that after I had been playing outside all day. I was always outside playing and looking like a little ragamuffin.:D

It is very nice. My first thought was a contemporary Vietnamese realist painting, but I don't think this is it. Could you tell us some more about it?

the painting is only 7x5 inches
my uncle recently passed away and he left me all of his artwork this was tucked away amongst the rest, he lived in the south of France for the last 16years and I'm guessing this is where he purchased it. Apart from the price this is all I know.

Maybe a photo of the back would be helpful. Even if there’s nothing written, it could give some other clues.

Where would be the best place to find out about this picture?

It is best if you start a new thread for it. If you do, you'll get more eyes on it and have more chance of an identification.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Hello, @Stacey Moore -- And if you do start a new discussion thread, please try to get a better close-up photo of the front so that the writing below the image can be read. Also, we would like to know where you got the picture (what country, especially).

It's good to see that you came back to post again after several years. Welcome back!
