Picked this up earlier today. The decor looks quite crude to me but the mark on the base has filled me with intrigue. First of all I got a result for the mark as Nabeshima. I'm not sure if this is correct as all I can find is plates if I search for this. Now another search suggestion is Naoshima.

Yes it is a bit odd. Can't put my finger on it. I've looked up Nabeshima on gotheborg and the mark is nothing like this one.

Google lens AI says this: The image shows the base of a porcelain vase with a distinctive blue mark, which identifies it as a product of Koransha, a renowned Japanese ceramic company.

    I dunno.

Thanks for looking. I think AI has it wrong this time. I've searched for koransha marks and keep getting an orchid type mark. Sort of similar but not.

I found a plate on eBay with the same mark that someone attributed to Nabeshima but I think they got it wrong

I've found this. Page not available but still some info available. The prunus pattern and colour are very similar to my jar.
