I don't recall how, where or when these were acquired. There are no chimneys. Note that they are 'handed'; the wick elevator knobs an' the chimney cover adjusters are on opposite sides of these 2 lamps...as if they were to be hung close enough together for that to be necessary? I dunno. The chimneys would have had a lower end about 1 1/4" OD.The burners have a 1 1/4" wide flat wick that is formed within the burner to a ~1/2" round at the flame end. The elevator knob is marked ASAHI...but I somehow doubt these lamps were made by Asahi, as they aren't what I consider of Japanese quality. The fonts are removable. There are no other markings that I can find anywhere on the lamps. The domed parts with brass hang-tabs are weighted, an' have sheet-steel backs.
Are these lamps familiar to any of you? I'm grateful for your comments an' suggestions...Thanks for lookin'!

Here's an Asahi brand lamp found on Ebay. The gang should be able to find more.

Yr pair's very cool-wall sconces (poss adjustable w/ reflectors ??? -can't quite tell). What'd drive value thru the roof would be documentation linking them to the Nautical or Railroad industries.

Nary a mark to help in that regard, Bosko.

They appear to have identical burners to mine!
Maybe Asahi DID make the ones I have? Thanks!
