Featured Help w/ID Mid Century Modern Plate w/Fish Art

hi everyone. i was just looking for something else in my kitchen and found this plate i stashed away that i bought several years ago. i forgot all about it. it was found in a thrift store, maybe 8 or 10 years ago. it's a heavy, handmade piece, 20 inches long and 9 7/8 inches wide. Google Lens thinks it's Aldo Londi, but i don't. i've never been able to make out the signature on the bottom. Poisson is French, i believe, for fish. i'm hoping someone out there might recognize it. any help will be appreciated...thanks

Maybe North African (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon), with the "signature" being a name and/or text in Arabic?

 

I am getting a scandi vibe but that is just a guess

 

"Poisson" does suggest France.

i just sent a picture of this to a friend locally. he deals in a lot of mid century modern art and furniture. he told me he's had a smaller version of the same piece with the same mark and couldn't identify it either. i just thought i'd throw it up here in the hope someone might recognize it. i remember buying it thinking i could identify it later. well, it's later and i've still not identified it. the more eyes on it, the better.
