For Sale From Joy ...

I am now in the process of designing and making clothing for some of my tiny antique dollhouse dolls, most are dressed already but I have about 4 of them that are nekkid. This tiny sewing (about 3-4 inches in length) should take me about 4 months to complete. I am always looking for scraps old antique fabric .. very thin wool, silk and cotton .. tiny lace, old silk hankies, scraps are fine too as I can make rosettes from them. I will gladly pay must be very fine and thin fabric for these tiny dolls. ... Joy.

 

I don't have any fabric like that. My mother probably does, but she also makes doll clothing... and also lives several hours from me.

This weekend I'll be going to an antique mall and if I see anything appropriate I'll pick it up for you. (Assuming that I remember... )

Oh , Joy...... I may have some things for you.....maybe not so antique...but usable...I'll go hunting soon...

 

Oh Komo, I REALLY only use antique fabrics .. I also sew with antique cotton and silk threads, if you find any old silk hankies or old cotton ones that have tiny lace in the edges that size would really work for me, I have tons of antique silk and cotton threads so I'M FINE IN THAT DEPARTMENT. aNY SCRAPS OF REALLY OLD THIN STUFF WOULD WORK FOR ME. Sorry for the caps .. I just don't feel like correcting it !!! I don't want to buy large clothing pieces on ebay as I like to use different for each doll .. smaller pieces of Anything VERY OLD WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED BY ANYONE .. FITTED INTO AN ENVELOPE WOULD WORK .. OMG .. I had better sign off, these capitals are getting out of hand ... Joy.
