It could be a butter curler from when butter came in 1lb. blocks. If you held two sticks together, maybe you could see if it worked.

A baby coconut is an immature coconut. I only know this because I did a project in jr high school on foods, the meat which is the white part (obviously not as much as with a mature one) is sweeter & more wet, the milk content is higher so that is where they typically get coconut milk from. Ok that was in the mid ish 70’s. Now I can also tell you I have had both (they are plentiful here) but haven’t had either in years. It is easier to buy shredded coconut & the milk then crack them open!
