Here's a small Chest of Drawers / a Nightstand / an End Table

The quality is here to see in its form and construction, using solid wood (walnut ?)

    The overall size is 29” w x 35” h x 12” d
    The drawers are 16” w x 3.5” h x 8” d

I cannot find any marking other than the maker of the lock.

What would the style be called?

    Any other comments are welcome.

With the plywood back, can't be terribly old. Was thinking Italian but the American lock makes me think twice. Suppose the lock could be a replacement.

This is hard to find a comparable item. There's one that pops up using image search and that's all. I want to price it fairly. Thanks for the input. ;)

    I'd say hall table....
too thin and tall , for a night stand or end table... imo.

I think older than early 20th c., a renaissance revival influence, 1860-80's. Seen quite a few clocks of the era with these strong design elements. Even the hardware which at first glance looks Nouveau is seen earlier. Looks to be walnut. My 5 ft wide office file, circa 1870 has a similar design, but not as bold. . . walnut, hand cut dovetails. I went pretty far down several rabbit holes and didn’t find anything specific. However, if there’s anyone near Terryville, Connecticut, they could look for your lock in the museum there:
    https://www.lockmuseumofamerica.org/
And the Internet Archive has at least two Eagle Lock Co. illustrated catalogs available to view online and to download, this one from 1928:

    And another from 1900:

    Isn't that a plywood back?

I'm hardly a well informed furniture person but I have read that plywood has been used since the mid 19th C on furniture. Can't say I could identify if old plywood looks different than more modern, if that's so.

It's a thin panel. It's solidly in place, so I cannot check edge of it. I have restored record cabinets from the 1910s with thin panels of 3 ply.
