Oria3_Tricolor_deco_necklace_1.JPG I had no luck finding a useful link to anything labeled "ORIA3" as the only text match I got led to an old Pinterest page in French for a pair of earrings. My necklace is silver and gold tone on the fan portion with a rose-gold vertical bar at the top.

The end ring is stamped "ORIA3" on one side and "BR" or "ER"?? on the other. No marks on the spring-ring clasp. I tested one of the two large flat circle rings above the pendant with 10K acid on a scratch. It has held for over 2 minutes, so might it be gold?

So, anyone know who the maker is? Or what "ORIA3" means? Thanks so much! (apologies if pix are over-exposed, trying a new lighting set-up)

Oh, aren't you clever. I wouldn't be surprised if the Castafiore necklace is genuine Deco and the OPs is a Retro copy.

Seller says this one's "1930s Art Deco German Rodi&Wienerberger, Pforzheim, gold-filled doublé metal brass necklace. Marked Oria 2 and RW."

    Maybe the number indicates the Ks, 1 = 18, 2 = 14 and 3 =10K?

As you all realized, the 18K piece is not mine, sigh... @Marote , thanks for the links! I guess gold-filled or heavy rolled gold is likely the material. I can't get the ebay link to work for me, so I tried entering the item number with no luck. Then, I copied the image and did a Google image search. Found many pieces attributed to that German maker. I'll have to research further. Odd, one seller claims the mark belongs to a maker who is French, one says German!

I wonder if the ER or BR mark on mine is a clue to ID?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I'm afraid enlarging it didn't help other than to make it look less like BR....
if you have a strong Loupe & a good eye, it might help clarify it better....

It looks more like SR to me, as the bottom part seems to be closed on the right side

Great find, Curioser. Oria is a good name.
This site is right. Oria was a French brand established in the 1860. Being French, Oria was not German.;) (I hope no French eyes see that site:facepalm:)
The Oria necklace is also Art Deco. Oria made most of its jewellery during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Oria jewellery is collectible nowadays.

Sometimes, it takes a village! I found this site on French jewelry makers, a little info in 2nd paragraph. http://www.bijouxregionaux.fr/en/contenu.php?idcontenu=72
It corresponds with what @Any Jewelry wrote. As for the two letters, I've looked multiple times with several loupes and I can't make them out, I don't think S is the first letter though.

    Thanks to you all!
