    anyone have an idea what this terracotta thing looks like it could be(house clearance shop) (closed) (from yesterday)

    just mailed the chap to see if he knows anymore (and price)

    got an interesting look (though i can't place it from anywhere)

    suppose could be a reproduction of something also

    thinking its gotta be a teapot or such, was like an animals head on the left side

    Interesting. Looks big for a teapot. But I think I might like the thing that it is standing on more.

    A very nice Modernist terracotta.
    I think she is sitting on an animal (horse?). She looks like a historical figure, looks like a 15th century hairstyle.

    very interesting thanks Aj, thought it was yixing untill i saw the figure, no great age i don't think but just interesting looking

    and yes i think it was a horsey :)

    hmmm odd thing ain't she bud, the guy i get things from can be ridiculously precious about things and way over priced (if he knows something) or practically give things away, so i'm hoping its the latter

    will let you know if i can get more info (or have :woot:)

    sometimes in life you gotta take a risk i guess, don't even know if theres any damage ;)

    it cost that almost just to get into town and back nowadays on the bus;):)

    Google says the chippy is temporarily closed. Hope you're not too hungry. Terracotta thingy definitely looks promising, looking at similar things online. Be interesting to see what it is.

    blew my tits of when i saw it, yeah very looking forward to seeing wht it is

    my gut feeling is one of the museum replica things and that might explain the £10

    but some of those things are so well made

    Could well be a modern repro but peeps still pay well for garden ornaments and such like. Just be a pain posting it though.

    i think the pictures might be a bit misleading, from memory about 7/8 inches only

    perhaps i lent in too far because i saw the chip shop in the glass and wanted to eat that as well :playful::playful:
