....probably my fave find from yesterdays boot, (probably prefer the find to the ring)

he jumped into my arms, and the guy says "ha, how much you wanna give me for him"

cool as a cucumber i raised rowlfs mouth to my ear

guy says " iiiii know, a pound right ?" (true story)

now i will probably sell him.......if it was animal................no way

its all i wanted as a child

 

mini piano was here before rowlf but cool

 

Rowlf was one of my faves-the way his jaws flapped around !
This is his ancestor 'Farfel', his jaws clamped shut like a pair of 2x4's. I recall him as a wee tot.

 

funny you should say that bosk, as i tried to open it (themouth)for the elton piano face.........but no.....snaps shut

 

I loved Rowlph too! Animal plays drums at my church, or at least a friend who kind of looks like him when he really cuts loose.

 

Awww, I so loved Rowlf when I was a little girl in the '60s - he used to be on the Jimmy Dean Show...

I actually was Animal for Halloween once upon a time; to be honest, it didn’t take much besides lots of mascara

A group of us had decided we were too old to dress up and go trick or treating, and were all rather regretting it. Then one of us was assigned to take her youngest sister out trick or treating, who wanted to be Kermit.

Cue costume frenzy, and Kermit was accompanied by Miss Piggy, Animal, Zoot, Janice, and, and… well, it’s a great excuse to call some old friends

 

My favourite Muppets song. But Rowlf is great fun too.
