Set of Royal Worchester Plates

    Just wondering about this set of Royal Worchester plates that I've had for quite some time but never used. Are they display plates? There are a dozen and all have different flowers in the middle. Painted by somebody named W. Hale. Any idea's about age? I know fine china really isn't worth much these days but thought I'd inquire anyway. Couldn't find them online.

    Actual spelling is "Worcester".

    I can't see the mark that well, but it looks to be the late 19th/early 20th one. Those were painted by William Hale. Superb artist. They're cabinet or maybe under plates and even with the down turn in traditional antiques, you've real value there.

    This pair of cabinet plates by Hale were for sale on Ruby Lane for $1100. Yours aren’t so ornate but are nice quality and you have 12.

    I suspect in the UK, you'd be looking at the classic 80 to 120 pounds each. I like these better than the Ruby Lane ones, but I'm a sucker for dark blue glazes.
