Interesting article on the use of historic and modern Tiffany & Co. creations in del Toro's new movie 'Frankenstein'-Tiffany & Co.'s participation marks a first for the brand, bringing together rare archival masterworks and contemporary high jewelry through the breadth of the Tiffany archives.

Perfect for horror movies ~ a Tiffany double stem student lamp is seen in Hitchcock's Psycho (only half is visible in photo). An amazing lamp made by The Manhattan Brass Co., then detailed by Tiffany. Their lamps had minimal value in 1960, but by the late 60's the interest in the lamps began to take off. Today a double stem student is worth 20K plus.

@charlie cheswick -nobody puts as much humanity & compassion into his 'monster' films as del Toro.
@Drew can you imagine checking into a $6-$11 a night motel in 1960 and having that lamp in your room !?
Mia Goth's extremely light eyebrows def give her a unique, almost eerie look-beautiful but kinda unearthly.

1975, the same years 'Jaws' was made these movies came out-'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show', 'Shampoo' and 'Dog Day Afternoon'-not a bad year ?
