Vintage Hobé Bracelet

Hello Again,

Another jewellery piece gift from my grandmother. I know so far that it is a signed Hobé/Hobe sterling bracelet that my grandmother purchased on an overseas trip to the US in an antiques store in San Francisco in the 60s or 70s. I believe it is 1930s or 1940s and made of crystal (?). I am not certain on this though and any information would be appreciated.

A very similar piece to your bracelet is shown about 3/4 of the way down the page. She says they're pink rhinestones.

You're very welcome, Tara. I'm not normally a "joolie" but I've found that site very helpful in identifying makers of silver jewelry.

 

Hobe' jewelry is one of my favorites, especially the 1940's-50's pieces. Your's looks right for mid 1940's during WW2 when most costume jewelry manufacturers used sterling because of metal going to the War effort. I have quite a bit of vintage Hobe', and wear it often.
