Featured Butterfly shaped ceramic box?

Saw this on Chinese ebay, know nothing about it but find it beautiful, can anyone shed some light on it please?

 

Very Chinese-looking butterfly, made for the Chinese market in China. It's not horribly old, but beyond that you need a pottery/porcelain "guy". (i.e. not me)

 

Lovely trinket(?) box, looks Art Deco inspired.

 

The seller also mentioned Korean so maybe there’s a possibility?

 

Yes that’s what in my mind! Have seen ceramic vases of similar palette and lines in uk sold as AD

 

too small for your combs.... I say forget it !! ..

Exactly! But it could be AD inspired, but not of the period. Whenever it was made, it is very sweet and a good style.

 

And only for roughly £25 but I’ve been buying small trinkets all the time& feel like I should better ask for more info before I pay

 

Well, I think google lens brought up the listing on some sote called Carousel. Describes it as brand new, but as I don't read Chinese I don't know if there was more info.

 

Can you please post the link to that listing please? My google lens is not giving me any exact match

 

Carousel is a Southeast Asian selling platform, I know it from Indonesia - Singapore - Malaysia. I didn't know it had a Chinese version as well.
