Hi, I can’t help but I bet the people who can will want to see some photos. The Coke logo has changed over time, how it looks will help the experts help you :)

wonder how rare the earliest ones are ?, don't think i've ever seen one to be honest, or the early labels, they look like old japanese stamps from here :woot:

Mine is green but I have to find it to see when it was made. I must have purchased it about 15 years ago maybe.

True .. just ask the unfortunate people of Chiapas, Mexico’s poorest state and their coke addiction and related health problems. Also blamed on the Coca-Cola bottling plant in San Cristobal de las Casas and their impact on ground water resources and depletion. The plant has permits to extract over one million liters of groundwater daily (crazy!)

Mexico again: ‘In some local indigenous communities within the region, Coca-Cola is deeply integrated into cultural and spiritual practices, used in healing rituals and ceremonies

That’s our choice, personally I drink too much Coke (so part of the ‘problem’) But it’s not much of a ‘party’ when the parents give coke to their toddlers because it’s more accessible than drinking or bottled water.

Anyway, antique coke bottles are cool (let’s keep things at that :))

Fles means bottle. Geschermd is only half Dutch, could it be beschermd, with a 'b'? Beschermd means protected.
So it probably means that the design of the bottle is registered, therefore protected, no one can copy it.

When I was in Czechoslovakia in the mid-70s, I came across the most beautiful Coca Cola bottle I've ever seen. It is a taller, more slender version of the regular small one. Maybe they were made elsewhere as well, but I only saw them in Cz.
I took it with me because I loved the shape, and a year later I got a regular size one, also from abroad. Can't remember where from though, and the text is too worn to make out the language.:(

The two together, you can see the difference:

the one i had was marvellous though, reminded me of the coke you got in pubs in the 80s/90s

had a caramel type taste that i haven't tasted in it since then
