Good afternoon folks. From my research, I believe this ewer is Canuck Pottery Evangeline Ware Canada. About 8" tall x 3 1/2" diameter. Can anyone confirm this or point me in the right direction? Thank you EvangelineEwer.png EvangelineEwer2.png EvangelineEwer3.png EvangelineEwer4.png EvangelineEwer5.png

Interesting. I've been looking through it from an old link, the one I posted. It does say Not Secure at the beginning now that you mention it. I wonder if I can view it because I've had the link on my computer so long. Huh.

Well now that I browsed I'm not sure it would help you that much anyway. It gives a little info on many companies along with label examples etc. but doesn't give more than a few examples and I didn't see one quite like yours.

Here is all they show for Evangeline Ware and Canuck Pottery. (Least I can do since I brought it up)

Evangeline pottery, also known as Evangeline Ware, was a line of pottery produced by the Canuck Pottery company, which started in Saint John, New Brunswick, in the late 19th century and later relocated to Quebec after a 1963 fire. Known for its distinctive "drip glaze" technique, the pottery featured vibrant colors like red ("Flame"), blue, and green in unique, handmade designs. You can find these vintage pieces, which are considered iconic Canadian mid-century modern ceramics, on antique sites like Etsy and eBay.
    Key Characteristics
    • Drip Glaze:
The defining feature of Evangeline Ware, this technique created a unique, one-of-a-kind finish on each piece.
    • Vibrant Colors:
Common glazes included red ("Flame"), orange, brown, and blue-green.
    • Iconic Shapes:
Pieces range from decorative vases, bowls, and pitchers to animal figures and trinket dishes.
    • Handmade Quality:
The pottery is recognized as handcrafted Canadian art pottery from the mid-century modern period.
    Origin and History
    • Foley Pottery:
The company began as Foley Pottery in the 1890s, producing early colored jugs and souvenirs.
    • Canuck Pottery & Evangeline Ware:
The operation continued as Canuck Pottery in the mid-20th century, with Evangeline Ware becoming a prominent line of decorative dinnerware and pieces.
    • Location Change:
After a factory fire in 1963, the company's operations moved to Quebec, though the line was still known as Evangeline Ware

The above is the AI generated info at the top of the page when I googled evangeline pottery canada. I always considered it much like Blue Mountain Pottery. Similar drip glaze. Very modest value from the looks of it.
