Featured It is red jasper. Right?

    Maybe someone can recognize the maker by the clasp. maybe not. The back of the clasp just has the word Silver. but it is gold color.
    It is 16" long and the beads are 1/2"

    The clasp is a generic. I have them on some Chinese-made pieces here. The beads look like the're dyed.

    I don't think they are dyed. They look good for natural jasper. Jasper is not dyed as far as I know. A material like Magnesite is usually dyed to look like jaspers, turquoise and others.

    Ditto. I have never seen dyed jasper, no need, it is naturally this colour.
    Individually knotted beads is always good.
    Gilded silver clasp. A 'silver' mark is often Chinese or SE Asian. Not always, but in this case it probably is.
