Featured unusual treen thingy

    ....something else i picked up for under a squid in a box of tools. not quite sure the purpose

    they obviously went together at some time

    thought maybe to do with sewing? looks functional

    the wood on it is GLORIOUS, like having just picked up a conker

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    :jawdrop::woot: It is gorgeous. I have seen similar ones for sale in antiques shops, can't remember if they were pricey, but it is bound to be much more than a squid.:)

    thanks for the info guys, blimey nice surprise

    philip is one of the only ones i like (to be honest) but maybe like the wee scottish lassie with the big eyebrows a bit more though ;):shy:

    Nice! It wanted to be a sock darner, but if so no one ever used it as such. As a toy it sells much better.

    well no as its never wanted to be a sock darner and is not one.....also the head would just fall off (wobbly)
