    This has no visible signature, definitely vintage. Does this style look familiar to anyone?

    It is a pretty generic style, 1960s-70s maybe.

    I always associate those field stone fences with New England.

    We have field stone fences all over here in VA so could be many places. Have you slipped it out of the frame to see if there is something hidden by it?

    Parts of New England are great places to grow rocks. Lousy for crops, but we're good at rocks. There are still a lot of 18th and 19th century stone walls, unmortared, but the farmers got the idea from somewhere.

    Agree.
    There are parts of Scotland, Wales and Ireland that look like that as well.:)
    But I agree, there is more likeness between New England and Olde England than between New Ireland and Olde Ireland.:D

    It's not as wet here or as warm, but at least there were no English kings breathing down your neck.
