Hi everyone, I just picked up this beautiful large (14”) vase marked with a maple leaf Nippon mark. I’m aware that real Nippon maple leaf marks are 1/4”, which mine is, but I was wondering if anyone knows what company made this? Couldn’t find much online, thanks! It says Hand Painted. Not sure whose mark the leaf is.

    That's a very nice vase @aginghoopsters
The mark is correct. There isn't a firm attribution for this mark. Some say a contracted mark of Noritake, but never confirmed. You know the mark dates 1891 to 1921. I have one vase in my collection with that mark.

That makes so much more sense, I was confused trying to research it because I saw different attributions like Morimura and Noritake. Thank you!
