Featured Would these beads be considered Nazar / Evil Eye from Turkey?

The beads appear to be handmade as they are not uniform in size or shape.

There are 57 multi-color beads. It is 38 1/2" end to end & has a 18 1/2" drop.

These aren't the eye beads I'm used to seeing, but that's probably what they are.

 

The Turkish shop nextdoor sells them, so yes, Turkish nazar beads.

Pity the conference didn't accept a paper that dealt with other glass as well as Greek glass. I must say, the Greeks can be very nationalistic, not only in this case.
The entire Eastern Med has an old and important glass culture. So have parts of East and Southeast Asia. And there are ancient trade links between the two, for instance East Javanese glass beads were found at an Egyptian archaeological site.

 

I have one in the car.. .... for.. the heck of it !

the beads are nice with a funky clasp...... I'm sure they will work their magic no matter where u display them !!!
