Mad cool funny charming slippers i found yesterday

i remember buying unicorn slippers, but..............

i'm presuming nicely made home craft style but unsure

any info or thoughts appreciated........

Certainly felted wool, but could be home felted, maybe from the UK.

yeah i'm not sold on them being unicorns either.......but what else i know not

i like the idea of them being little snow boots (and the thought did enter my head)

The horn/tusk is a bit misplaced but perhaps a narwhal?

I didn't know about Iceland, but the UK certainly does. But it turns out they are Nepali.
This is the crest of the UK, English version, the Scottish one has a different motto:

 

I had taken them as flippers!

 

Somewhere out there, a six year-old is putting them on her Christmas list.
