Egyptian Revival Jewellery

    I have a question about Egyptian gold jewellery marks if anyone can let me know .If there’s only one mark for 18ct gold when would it have been made maybe approximately ? I haven’t found anything yet that explains just the one stamp.

    Well, first of all... They depict Queen Nefertiti. Her bust was discovered in 1912 but wasn't exhibited until 1924 so they won't be earlier than that date.

    Cuff links can often be dated by their backings. You didn't post a photograph.

    The internet says those square bars with pointed tips date to the 1940s. I don't know if that's true but she was put on display again in 1946 after she was taken from east Germany by the American Army and moved to the west.

    Thank you for looking and your time , I would agree 1940's saw some 1950's examples but didn't match mine off to have another research session all the very best and thanks again to all.

    It looks like an Egyptian mark for 18K, badly punched.
