I'm just jesting. Id rather know what it actually is and appreciate your help.

Looking at the Worthpoint listing. It has the same neo classical band and grape/vine one on the top. The listing seems to make out that is an original early 20th piece then slips in the middle very briefly that it's a repro. A bit underhand? I'll check the link thanks.

    Oh and it's 2.6kg

@Chinoiserie I went through the books but they were no help for identifying your piece unfortunately.
Did you send photos to the Moser company to see if they could confirm it is one of theirs?

yes, that had me a bit baffled saying it is a 'reproduction'. If it is made by the same company, wouldn't it be a 're-issue' of an old style? To me, a reproduction means it is made by someone else, but maybe that is wrong? Anyways, I looked around and couldn't find any info on 'reproductions' by them.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hello again. I sent photos to Moser on Sunday evening. Awaiting response. I noticed a few attributions to Moser/Walther glass during my search. Maybe it's a repro by the latter?

    Thanks for looking

Just received this back from Moser. So it would appear that all of the other examples online are imposters?

The product in the photo does not come from our glassworks. Neither the color nor the pattern on the relief corresponds to our production. Unfortunately, I do not know who the manufacturer is.

    Best regards,

Quite possibly Walther and Sohne then.

wow, that is wonderful they responded so quickly:) bummer your piece isn't Moser, but at least you know for sure

Walther wouldn't be on my list of suspects, maybe some company from Italy?

    good luck on your search:)

Chin, that seller is keyword spamming Moser.
    The description says,
"I believe that this gorgeous and large compote centerpiece was produced during the late 1800's at one of the premier Novy Bor or Teplice glass houses. The form, design, and exquisite cameo frieze cut work are all characteristic of the Goldberg Glass House. And this particular Persian Warrior themed pattern may be seen attributed to Goldberg on p. 48 "COLLECTIBLE BOHEMIAN GLASS" by Robert Truitt. Also much resembling Moser Karlsbad wares..."
The other info in the description may well be true, especially if it's mentioned in a book.

Ha ha. Yes I did realise after Charlie told me off. I've now listed it as Goldberg Persian Warrior pattern. Thanks guys

Hate to burst another bubble but I own that book and the sellers design did not match the 1920's Goldberg designs shown in the book. Harrach made similar pieces as well, same time period, again, no match. It pains me to see companies like worthpoint reprinting nonfactual listings. I know it seems minor, but it feels important to me.

Yeah it feels important to me too. I want my listings to be as accurate as possible. I've now had it listed as Moser, Walther and Goldberg. I think I will have to change it to unknown.
