    Another item I bought today...

    What was this used for? Dry fruit? Cookies?
    And is it possible to date this? I read that the company was founded in 1847, and became part of Franconia in 1925.

    Size would be useful;), but this shape was generally used for biscuit tins.

    For a moment I thought they moved from Berlin to Franconia, but I assume Franconia is also the name of another brand?:confused:

    12.5 cm diameter
    7.5 cm high, including the (hinged) lid & 6 cm excl. the lid
