thanks bud, i'm having a good old look through. the old national gallery waterlow (stamp printers) printed ones are super, thick carded and some with writing on the backs

 

see the first one actually states post card, so puts them in a different category which is definitely a good thing

 

That 'Doge' one looks like he was a barrel of laughs!
