This block weighs ~16 oz; the sheave is for ~1/2 or 3/8 inch line. The shoe-nail is my temporary solution to a missing brass cotter key.
The logo is a capital L within an equilateral triangle within a circle ~1/4" diameter. Google image search ignored the L, , an' said it was for Ithaca Arms; doubtful to me.
The mark may be from a European or North American maker, but I'm fresh out of ideas. Can any of you folks identify the manufacturer of this charming device?
    Thanks for lookin'!

With me GL first said it was a stylized A in a circle. With a second attempt , it said it was a sailing boat within a circle. In both cases Google said it was the logo of Polish weapon manufacturer Perkun :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    Two aphorisms, Bosko:

    Function is Beauty
    Form Follows Function

Those have been my words to live by for 60 years.
