More from my father's collection. I am still unsure whether the glass is cut or pressed. What do you think? I have found no matches with google lens. On the EAPGS pattern database, I used "Star/Hobstar" & "Loop" as motifs but found no matches. Can anyone ID it? Thank you!

(I am calling it "star triple-loop" to distinguish from all the other CG/PG bowls in the collection.) Is it unusal to find a triple-loop design? (The white blob in the first image is a reflection.)

I think it's ABP. It's not really a shape you see in EAPG. Possibly an individual ice cream dish. Sorry, i don't know the pattern name.

An easy trick to tell cut glass from pressed glass is to feel it (the pattern). Cut Glass will feel sharp.(like it could cut you). Pressed glass will not feel sharp.
    Maybe this member can help.

It looks like EAPG to me (Early American Pressed Glass). I've found some of my odd patterns here.

I joined an ABP group. Although they accepted me, my posts requesting IDs are still pending approval. I am not sure if this means they are not AB or just a longish wait for approval. But if the images were rejected, I assume the site would not say "pending." Maybe a collectors' group is not the best fit, so I found the one you suggested & applied. I also joined an "Art Glass Identification" group, but my requests for info about cut/pressed glass were not posted--so I suspect their definition of "Art Glass" does not include antique. I did get confirmation of the
ID of a Floris Meydam 1960s-70s Vase (pic below). I think it takes a little experimentation to find the right fit for FB groups. So I am now applying to a few more.

But I must say, I really like Antiquers--very friendly & welcoming to different levels of expertise and a genuine design to help.

It is just that I do not trust my "touch" for CG sharpness. I have thought pieces were cut glass that turned out to be pressed and vice versa. I posted a few pieces that I had thought were all cut glass: one was AB CG, another EAPG, and a third was PG with wheel cutting. https://www.antiquers.com/threads/pair-of-pressed-glass-candleholders-need-id.92118/

I went back to the china & glass cabinet and ran my thumb across some pieces & decided that they were indeed CG. But then there were those pesky ones that did not feel sharp to me, yet have a "hand cut crystal" label. Maybe I will eventually learn to trust my "touch," but in the meantime I will ask for your expert and much appreciated advice.

That's what I thought. Since EAPG does not have an image search (& I am just learning terminology) I find it a little tricky to locate patterns. For this one, I went to motifs & tried Loops & Stars but found no matches. But I just joined the EAPGS discussion on FB. I will see if they can offer words of wisdom.

Follow-up: I posted it on EAPGS discussion & two people told me it was NOT EAPG but cut glass & that I should try ACGS group. So I will do that.
