The claim is that it is "Lida and The Swan."

Think, based on saga related in the description, that seller's pronouns are she/her. E.g., "I have worn this peace accross the globe..."

Her pronouns may be known, but so are her love for autocorrect and her belief that it's always right!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Funny! And seller put this in the middle of the description: "Did you follow that?" --- um, no, not really!

Lida, the Unknown Lost Gorgon. Or gorgonzola, for those in the know. ;)

Before she married my father, my mother had been "pinned" to a boy back home in another state. Is that still a thing? Or, having never been a member of a Greek organization I have to ask, is that what they call it when they formally make you a member? I knew it was a joke, but don't know this other stuff.

I'd call it a quadruple. Dogs are people too.

In this picture, my two cents are on the dog for decent behavior.

Pinning was a Thing, but it's gone now. It's what you did when you "went steady" with a fraternity member.

Yeah, for some reason, real or imaginary, I remember his name as Walter, and he kind of broke her heart when he told her she wasn't pretty enough for him to marry. My dad wasn't really right for her either, but at least he was never cruel.

How not to embarrass yourself by getting the description wrong:

Anyone recognize this dude? Appears to be wearing the medal of the Order of the Golden Fleece (or a Brooks Brothers shirt).

    upload_2025-12-1_21-7-27.png

The medal itself looks more like this one from the Netherlands, with what looks like the whole animal

    upload_2025-12-1_21-9-11.jpeg

than like the more common one that looks more like the fleece alone

    upload_2025-12-1_21-10-8.jpeg

Members of the order were Catholic nobility.
