Found this cute little thing for .99 today and thought it had to be worth at least 2.00 haha. I thought it might be an older one because there is no Made in France on it.
can anyone help with the marks and age please?

"punchmark for Gras et Etienne. This comprises a briar rose (known in French as an Eglantine) topped by a crown, from which three feathers are sprouting. Gras et Etienne was based near Angers (where we regularly go to browse the Saturday antiques market!) from about 1710 through to 1980, when the original company went into liquidation. Output reached a peak around 1900 - 1920."

The 2nd mark is visible on this image of the Etains de France marks. They began in 1981, following the bankruptcy of Gras & Etienne company
"The hallmark features the crowned rose with three feathers (symbol of the Gras & Etienne company) with the text "Les étains de France" and the cross potent."
I guess that 2nd mark will be the cross potent. To me it looks more like an H and an I ...

    Very cool.
The French standard "Made in France" was by law after 1920. So most likely before that?
Oh and doesn't everyone love snake handles lol.

Frankly, it doesn't look pre-1920 to me. My guess is post-1960.
Besides, labelling the country's origin is not mandatory in the EU:

'In the European Union, a state which would make "made in France" or "made in Germany" labelling mandatory would infringe EU law which aim free competition, according to the Court of Justice of the European Union.[2]'
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Made_in_France

On the same page it says that the "Made in France" campaign was only started by Arnaud Montebourg, who became minister of Industrial Renewal in 2012.
    Absolutely!

I'd think newer too. Since wine became a more widely consumed beverage which started -- as above -- in the 1970s.
