Featured lil 3 footer & sweaters

Hi folks

a few pieces i picked up last week in the thrifts

the 2 ladies handknits i thought just had a cool look, i'm guessin both 80's ish

both wool (strand burn test)

the mohair one more like an 80s new wave look, the other i'm struggling with.....has a nautical breton look.....buts whats with those plaits

the little vase was too cute too pass....cool little shape...no marks.....period ?

any help appreciated

just seen this red beast in our village antiques shop, closed so can't see the base

guessing at mid century

reckon i could snag it at 25......

I think it's a recent decor vase. I'd pass on it.

 

The base looks Asian and modern. If you like it, buy it for the Red. I have one here that I paid about retail for in bright red; it's Italian of no particular antiquity. It came home purely for the color.

 

The first sweater makes me think of mohair, but I am not sure.
