K? Okamura Pottery Charger; Can't ID the Artist

    This belongs to a friend, who thought it was worth investigating. Looks like a studio piece to me, but I'm hardly qualified to say.
    It's ~14" by ~2"; in haste, I didn't weigh it. Coarse, granular yellow-ish clay, not particularly high-fired.
    Does it, or its signature, look at all familiar to any of you potties? Thanks for lookin'!
