I found there when looking for a dish to bring cookies to a pot luck. I didn't even realize I had them and not sure where they came from. The design appears to be a Mideastern landscape. Are they nut-mint dishes or what? The mark on the bottoms says Southington C Co. This is what I could find about them:

A "Southington C. Co. Quadruple Plate" item refers to an antique silver-plated piece (like pitchers, cups, or baskets) made by the Southington Cutlery Company (or Southington Silver Co.) in Southington, CT, featuring a thick layer of silver (four times standard) applied over a base metal, common in the late 19th-century Victorian era for decorative holloware. These ornate items, often marked with "Southington C. Co. Quadruple Plate," are collectibles valued for their detailed craftsmanship.

Good ID, Any. I looked for Southington butter pats and found exactly what I have on eBay. Thank you.

Hard to tell from your photograph but... The scene looks more like Bath, England than the American Midwest.

I said Mideast, not Midwest. :cat: I don't think Bath, England has palm trees.

Too funny! And apologies for mis-reading your post. But, yes... Bath, England does have palm trees. Thanks to the Gulf Stream.

There are even a few palm trees in Ullapool, in Scotland.
Overhere in the Netherlands too, also thanks to the Gulfstream. I hope it will keep bringing us warm Caribbean water and a mild climate.
