When I was a kid, my grandmother took me to her fur guy.
She always made sure I felt good about things.
So, she bought me some kind of fur wrap with the tail and the head still on. A bit scary.
It got lost in the move from Calif to NY.

I don't think they allow gator stuff on etsy, maybe they still allow it on ebay.

 

hadn't even thought about that pearls suppose i was thinking along the lines of snakeskin which is quite common but gator might be different

i'm guessing a leather of some kind. looks like a leather then something inbetween, then the croc

 

its making me a bit hungry for some reason that croc bit (ish)

 

Never had croc, but I have had gator….hornback is what this is, gastro. Commonly also used in the making of high end cowboy boots! It is a handbag. It will look smashing with just about everything colors are a neutral.

Nice Charlie. My Grandmother had a similar handbag, considering we think she was born around 1902-11 (we never knew the year). My mother said she had it when she was a kid & she was born in 1943. I wonder if it’s from the 20’s? Fun find & as grandma would have said where it well Mamaleh!
