Featured Silver rings with jade and amber

Hello all,
Since you were so helpful with my last enquiry I thought I'd try this one too.
They are two silver rings, one with a jade stone and the other with an amber stone.
They are most likely German and probably purchased in the 70s or 80s, though I don't know about the date of production.
Would be very grateful for any help.

 

Agree, they look German. More 70s than 80s imo. The jade one is probably by a Pforzheim maker. The amber one could be from the north.

has the same (RJ?) mark as the jade ring.
According to that forum member, bought in the Netherlands; no reply to the post, asking for mark identification.

 

Yes, we get a lot of German jewellery, not only through regular trade but also through travel.
Modern German maker's marks are almost impossible to identify. Many makers and no official mark registers. Most don't even use the national crown and crescent moon mark, they just do their own thing.

They absolutely do! As it is, I do not know how to polish silver which is why I haven't attempted it, but I'm sure I can learn with the Internet as my aid.

 

Thank you very much for the info! Yes I was a bit bewildered as to the complete lack of a crown and crescent on any of my (supposedly) German jewelry. What you said clears that up!
