Also saw this small (10" by 10" roughly) landscape yesterday. It was perched way high up and with night quickly falling-didn't have time to pop it off the wall.I think it's an original oil,but couldn't give it a close exam.
Not even sure of price.NOTE-Despite what our robot master says-it aint' The Haywain by Constable.
PS-Wish I still had my young 20 year old eyeballs ! Have to go back and inspect up-close... news to follow.

I shall report back Amigo (lest it's snatched first). In the meantime-here's another Victorian velvet frame-they were quite crafty industrious folk !

Personally I don’t think that’s an original oil painting at all (but that’s just my first thought)

The texture shown up by the light on the left in the dark area of the trees looks odd to me.

Could most definitely be a print-gotta get eyes on.

Reminds me of a print my parents had (if my memory doesn't fail me ... more than usual ..., it even had a similar river scene)

Thanks Marote-it's a cropped version of a Watts piece.

looks like a giclee print buddy from here, that'll just be textured gloop or whatever on the top of a print i reckons

Seeing the frame always helps because it provides context.

none of the texture goes with the brush strokes, its more like hieroglyphics
