Looks like your average roll top desk.Could have been made in 1890 or 1960.

You need to look for and photograph any labels, finish, sides, back, inside drawers and joinery - as much detail as you can. :)

    Welcome

Hello! Congrats!, you made it here from the gallery!
Sorry, i know very little about these desks, I think yours is called a C scroll/curve & the more preferred type is S scroll, i could be wrong about this.
Others will be along to help you.

Those low profiles are really nice looking...

Beautiful tiger oak, sharp looking brass feet and clearly marked.

@nsitxje take a closer look at what you have. :)

I think what we could use is additional pictures with a lot more light on the subject and more details visible.

Those are asking prices are on a retail site. Best practice is to find several sold prices and average.

If I can't find several, I start at 50% of retail and work back on condition.

Harp gallery has a margin, too.

As suggested, it is an oak C roll-top desk. Probably 20th century, pre WWII. Casters do look like replacements. Value really is dependent on condition, where, and how selling. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, we can hardly sell these unless dirt cheap. Obviously, based on the above examples, others can do quite well with them.
