At first, I was thinking Kutani, but the mark is totally wrong. I looked through the G site a couple times. some similar, but similar doesn't work for me.
Need some sleuthing help for sure.

Now that would make my little teapot about 200 years old. It is in his style for sure. Mimicking Chinese pottery.

    Are you sure? ;)
But no need to award me a best answer for a 2 minute google search :) Even more so, as this would take me to a shared 3rd place in the best answers list, tied with AJ and Komo, who actually know a thing or two (thousand) about antiques.

I'm indeed not saying it is an actual Mokubei pot. Just indicating that it's his mark. As it's a famous name, it's likely that there will be a lot of copies. The one from the link (that, unlike yours, has the mark on the spout. no idea if there's one on the bottom, as it isn't shown) has a price indication of just 5000 yen (little over $30), and that's for a set that also includes 5 bowls. I assume a 200 year old set would be a tiny bit more expensive.

I figured it was at best honorific It will require more research. There is a major difference in the one found by @Marote and mine. Mine is porcelain, the other examples are clay. I have found several, some clay and some porcelain pieces. It seems the clay pieces all have the mark on the sides, and the porcelain ones have it on the bottom. You still nailed the mark though and that is special to me.
