now, have had a bit of bother trying to sell it , first for quite a lot.....then a steady decline into....i'd rather keep it ya cheapskates

but noticed this last night by sort of accident

Unfortunately it is the dye, not the material. A dye containing yellow will often do that.

 

You could try the float test, just to be sure.

 

yeah could be Aj, i really don't think its bakelite though
