    Hello community!

Friends, I really need your help — you’re my last hope.

I’m trying to identify an impressed “LF” mark on a figurine. I believe it may be French bisque, and it’s a truly beautiful and surprisingly heavy piece.

While searching, I came across a catalogue full of monograms that I hadn’t seen before. I’m sharing the link below — it contains a huge number of marks and monograms, and it’s not limited to France either. Very useful reference.

Does anyone recognise this “LF” mark? Any direction or ideas would be greatly appreciated — I’m determined to get to the bottom of it (and once again I probably won’t sleep until I do!).

P.S. Is it just me… or does anyone else have this obsession? If there’s a mystery, it has to be solved. I have a few objects that have been sitting on the shelf for years — and I keep coming back to them again and again. Sometimes I crack it, sometimes I put it aside… and then I return to it.

Sorry, :D I don’t think you will be happy to see all my finds everyday. It is part of my work and 99% of finds are solved easily in 5 minutes or in few days. But sometimes, it is pain in the, let’s say, in the daily schedule . And yes, when I can’t find answers, after trying by myself - you are my first and last hope ❤️
