    This is likely an antique glazed redware jug, possibly dating to the early to mid-19th century. Similar items found in auctions have been identified as Chinese amber glaze earthenware pottery jars from the Tang Dynasty or American/European redware jugs.

    It’s about 11cm wide in the centre and stands 15cm tall. Personally I thought it might be antique but wasn’t completely sure. Thanks for any help.

    Or a jug or flask possibly American from the early 19th century? Anyway I don’t know. Please let me know what you think.

    Sorry, I got nuttin'. It does look like some sort of utilitarian ware, so could be really old, or not all that old. Interesting neck and top shape.

    @Any Jewelry

    Hi AJ,do you think there’s any possibility that this could be Chinese in origin? Have you perhaps see something similar before? Many thanks

    The shape could be Korean, maybe a replica of a Goryeo Dynasty jug. But the spots in the clay look more European to me.
