Featured Help with cranberry glass ormolu vase

    My husband found this beautiful vase the other day, and we would love to get some more information if possible. As far as we know with a quick google lens search, it’s cranberry glass with ormolu casing.
    I also found out that it glows under my blacklight flashlight, which I thought was unusual, but very cool. It looks like even the rhinestones are glowing.

    I don't think it's old enough for true ormolu mountings, but the glow under blacklight is pretty awesome.

    I think it's cool too. I don't think it would occur to me to test something that color with UV. The rhinestones, though bright, are merely reflecting the light back, not changing under it.

    Bohemian or Italian is where I would start.....gilt metal filigree.
