Found today, bought it simply because I liked it. I know nothing about glassware, pottery, etc. Google lens was no help.
    Thanks.

Good news and bad news...... I don't think it is Home Goods or similar modern ilk. The bad news is that I don't think it is of much consequence. Maybe 60s - 70s Japanese? I think I am probably right on the time frame but could be wrong on the origin. Could see how this could be European or Scandinavian as well.

Base colours are confusing. Is it red or white? If white, I agree with Brad, if red (like redware and terra cotta colour) then I would think maybe American. But ???

It's hard to photograph inside....streaks of white, grayish glaze. For $10, I loved it. I only buy glassware I like for my personal use, anything else is a bonus.

Thanks, Brad. This thrift does make mistakes.

I'll go with Brad on this one -- there was a craze for stoneware and "earthy" looking pottery in the 70s and into early 80s.

Good enough looking piece, great thread title. Made me chuckle!
