One for the clock junkies - not usually my thing, but the Hebrew letters/numbers caught my attention. That's a specialist interest variation. The clock was made here in Connecticut like a lot of them.

This looks like a converted oil lamp. The shade wouldn't go for cheap either, but it's too big for the lamp.

This one I almost want to bid on as a rescue. They have an Afikomen (cover for the Passover hide-the-matzoh) listed as a pillow cover.(!!) The lady who runs the company is Jewish.

This company will ship things if you arrange it first, but it's not cheap.

I'm not allowed to go to auctions, antique shops, flea markets or second hand stores. I am supposed to be downsizing!

 

I half looked at one estate sale. But... highway driving early morning on not much sleep is not a good idea, plus I"d only want one or two things in the pictures. Said things are what others will want too. If the family, it's a family sale, sells it early, pulls it, or prices it high, then I made myself useless for an entire day for nothing.

I did however find myself in the local Ill Will today. Bought a photo frame with its back missing. I need precisely that shape and size for a craft project. Paid $2 for it. I would not have paid $3.

I am assauging my desire to amass stuff by buying lots of craft and art stuff that I'll likely not get around to using up, but hey, it's not on a shelf or in a box in the basement!

 

The lamp went for $900-ish. The fancy coffee table went crazy. It's some sort of designer piece.
