In love with this plate I scored at my local auction! However, no clue on the identification portion. Looks like Mason's Ironstone chartreuse pattern with a Chelsea vibe? The only marking on the bottom is a handpainted 722. Thoughts?

Seems odd that a 5-lobed plate would have a 6-image pattern...to me, anyway. There's a bit of vertigo in the overall impression.

From rim to rim just over 9in and from point to point, about 10in.

Think it may be a potential repro or counterfeit? It was picked up at an estate auction with no background information in a lot with several other old mismatched plates. I probably paid $4 total for them all.

I wonder, why do you think so?

Looks like an old piece to me, wear/stained in the middle. Wouldn’t think it’s a repro or counterfeit.

    C. 1840 maybe, maybe? Not sure, but not a repro or fake. Not worth it. Sorry, no idea of factory. I can see why AI comes up with Masons, but I don't think so. Not Chelsea either.

Is the pattern painted on? Looks like cold paint flaking off in places
