Help with signature on painting - frame worth price?

This is another painting I looked at but put aside till I could check here.
I can't make out the signature - maybe 'Montris' (or triz)?
The manager told me he wanted $30 for it , but I told him I'd buy the large pastel bird painting I posted earlier , but wait till tomorrow after I heard what this forum thought.
Can anyone tell who the artist is?
Is the frame worth the $30 ? (No Hecho en Mexico stamped on back )

The Charles Z. Mann Gallery was supposed to be reputable according to the internet. Looks like a 1970s Impressionist-style painting to my eye. Ah, here you go. A Montrec from the same gallery and info about artist. Dunno about frame but, since work decorative, assume frame same.

"She was born Mildred Eileen Jones in Baltimore, MD in 1930. She lived her early adult life in Long Island, NY where she operated a commercial gallery. She eventually moved to Hawaii where she operated a commercial gallery in Princeville on the island of Kauai. She later moved to the island of Maui where she died on Oct 21, 2003. Her early work was mostly of a French impressionist style and some still life work. She always signed her paintings “EJones”. However, in late 60’s and the 70’s she also signed as “Montrec”. Her artwork in her later years in Hawaii was focused on natural landscapes of the island scenery."
