2 old? bronze/brass swords - real? Value if I buy?

A lady who works at the thrift store I go to every day, sent me a text with the photos of these 2 swords with 2 questions:
Are the old?
Are the valuable?

She's Cuban & her English is limited, so I can't have a big conversation with her over the text, but will have people who can translate tomorrow.

A image search of the one with the body for handle came up as possible copy, but I don't think the writer was sure (see last 2 )attached

Can anyone tell me anything about these? Real or copy, idea what to pay either way?

Sorry, forgot to ask - are these bronze or brass?

 

..the handle wants to be a French 1831 short sword.....the blade , does not !

I'm going to see them tomorrow, she told me she'd take $400 for both, so maybe just take the larger one with body for handle & offer 250?
Is 200 each good for reproductions if not real?
