  1. Hi I picked up 2 of these... Are they stone or glass, what period? Is it brass frame? Please help thanks IMG_20191109_142937_resize_20.jpg IMG_20191109_143008_resize_91.jpg IMG_20191109_142952_resize_7.jpg IMG_20191109_142952_resize_7.jpg IMG_20191109_143035_resize_30.jpg IMG_20191109_143035_resize_30.jpg

In my limited experience, these would be glass rather that stone. Based on the shape, they may be for a ceiling fixture. Others will know more.

Not exactly tulip, it may be for a table lamp for a woman's boudoir.

Slag glass lamp shades were very popular in the 1960s/70s.
Believe that they were brought back in the last 10-20 years. Think the shape is the newer shape for bedside lamps.

    Size would be helpful.

The beaded frame for this bent glass slag glass shade suggests a 40s-50s date.

  8. Thanks for all input, size is 5 1/2" height x 4 1/2" width :)

That seems too small for bedside lamps.

I wonder about a kerosene lamp, but someone will correct me if it’s the wrong time period.

Oh had no idea it was so tiny!! This is why we should ask for dimensions when the photos are posted.

@i need help seems to have found the correct lamp for this shade, thanks!

  12. Sorry I should have given the measurements before. Thanks for all the help :)
