    I might have a Country Joe and the Fish album around here somewhere if it didn't go into the garage sale. I used to love that band, it was so fun.

    I still remember the day my college roommate brought home a record, said "You've got to hear this!" Turned the lights down low, put it on the turntable, and the first notes from Country Joe and the Fish rang out. I'd never heard anything like it.
    I loved those songs; Country Joe and Barry "the Fish" Melton, who is now a lawyer, and still playing.
    RIP, Joe.
